Network of Centers for Civic Engagement (NCCE) presents a guidline and FAQs on how to receive a State Compensation due to COVID  19 outbreak. NCCE has received over 350 questions from citizens regarding the procedures to apply for state compensation. Received question were grouped based on compensation types and FAQs was developed to assist citzines better understand the regulation. We continue to answer citizens questions regarding the procuders as well as to assist them to submit required documentation to receive state compensation.

In light of the ongoing epidemic and a state of emergency in Georgia, it is critically important to provide objective information to as many citizens as possible on how to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and mitigate its negative effects. The Centers for Civic Engagement (CCEs) have been committed to enhancing citizen awareness and participation across Georgia for over eight years now. During this period, we have reached out to and engaged a large number of community leaders, civic activists, the youth living in urban and rural areas, women, representatives of ethnic minorities, the elderly, doctors, teachers, students, farmers, politicians, journalists, civil society organizations, businesses, and authorities from all over the country. As a result, currently we have a comprehensive and up-to-date database of nearly 15,000 people living in 10 regions of Georgia, disaggregated by the listed sub-groups. We collected this data with the consent of our beneficiaries.

A Letter to a Victim - Winners Announced

The winners of the competition "Write a Letter to a Gender-based Violence Victim" organized by the Network of Centers for Civic Engagement (NCCE) are now announced. School students were asked to write a letter to a victim of Gender-based violence and show the empathy and support along with their advice. NCCE has received many interesting letters, therefore it was quit hard to elect the winners. After lots of discussions, jury announced the winners: I Place: Gela Shatirishvili, Batumi, N6 Physics-mathmetics Public School, 8th grade II Place: Naz Akhmedova, Marneuli, Village Zemo Sarali Public School, 12th grade III Place: Ana-Maria Shekiladze, Rustavi, #4 Public School, 10th Grade Jury Favorite: Lizi Gadradni, Mestia, Chuberi, 9th grade

Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Kant Academy and Network of Centers for Civic Engagement

Within the framework of the Kant Academy programs, the partnership is proposing joint educational programs for adolescents at the Regional Offices of the Network of Civic Engagement Centers and preparing joint grant applications for this purpose. Liaison with international and local donors and joint efforts to empower youth. The memorandum was signed by Mareki Gvaramadze, Founder and General Director of Kant Academy and Nina Khatiskatsi, Executive Director of the Network of Centers for Civic Engagement.

Contest for School Studets - Write a Letter to a Victim of Gender-based Violance

In the framework of the 16 days campaign against Gender-Based Violence against women Network of Centers for Civic Engagement (NCCE) announces a competition for school students - Write a Letter to a Victim of gender-based or domestic violance. Students shall submit their letters that is addressed to the imaginary or real vicit without identifing the person.  The deadline for submitting letters is December 15, 2019.
